What is Coaching?
Like Riding a Bike
A coach helps you explore your goals and discover how to achieve them step by step.
They work alongside you, providing support as you gain confidence and develop new skills. Instead of giving you direct instructions, a coach empowers you to find your own answers and create a personalized plan that works for you. Imagine a coach as someone running beside your bike, helping you bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be, turning knowledge into action and creating the change you desire.

Understanding the Differences:
Coach, Consultant, Therapist, and Mentor
Consultant
A consultant is an expert in their field who gives you specific advice and solutions. They analyze your situation, teach you what you need to know, and provide strategies to solve problems. Imagine a consultant explaining how your bike works, showing you where to place your feet, and suggesting ways to improve your performance—like upgrading your bike or following a training plan.
Therapist
A therapist helps you understand and address emotional or psychological barriers that may be holding you back. They explore past experiences, fears, or self-doubt and help you work through them. A therapist is like someone helping you overcome your fear of falling off a bike, understanding why you feel that way, and finding ways to build your confidence.
Mentor
A mentor is someone with experience who shares their knowledge and insights to help you succeed. They offer practical advice, demonstrate how they’ve succeeded, and provide guidance based on their own journey. A mentor is like an experienced cyclist who teaches you how to ride faster, take care of your bike, and navigate potential challenges.
